ABOUT
THE FEST
Cancer sucks. So what are we going to do about it?
Join us on May 9 at Halfway Crooks at the Cancer Event to End All Cancer (*Events), where we’ll be fighting the ultimate bad with the ultimate good: beer, bands, and banter.
Starting at 4pm and going until the kegs run dry, the Biergarten is our arena for this battle of good vs evil.
The goal of this event is to raise hell–and funds– for the Allyson Whitney Foundation, a nonprofit supporting young adults facing rare cancers. Every dollar we raise will go directly to patients who need it.
Come raise a pint (or two!) with us— every beer consumed = 1 🖕You to Cancer. Last year we raised $8,000. Let's raise even more this go!
*We can’t legally promise this fever-dream of an event will end all cancer, but it may alter the future of cancer events as we know them.
Sick bands * cold beer * Good people * Even better banter *
ABOUT
THE CAUSE
All proceeds benefit the Allyson Whitney Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting young adults facing rare cancers.
Each year, nearly 85,900 young adults are diagnosed with cancer—yet this group remains one of the most underserved in care and support. The Allyson Whitney Foundation steps in when it matters most, providing “Life Interrupted Grants.” Because while people love to say “stay strong,” strength doesn’t pay for treatment, rent, or everyday life.
Every dollar raised during this event will help lighten the load for someone who truly needs it.

THREE SWEATY FRIENDS VS CANCER
For all of its faults, (of which there are many), cancer is luckily not contagious. But do you know what is? Marathon training.
It all started in 2024, when Aubrey took on the New York City Marathon. Not long after she crossed the finish line, she convinced her friends, Ali and Garrett, to join her in running for the foundation’s team in the 2025 Berlin Marathon.
Despite the aches, pains, and all consuming training regimen, the crew finds themselves reuniting yet again to take on 26.2 miles—this time in the 2026 Sydney Marathon.
Same crew, same cause, same sweat (and maybe some blood & tears…)

AUBREY
Aubrey was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2018. When her first treatment stopped working, Aubrey had to undergo a stem cell transplant for a shot at survival. She is now 6 years in remission and determined to give back to the Allyson Whitney Foundation, an incredible organization that supported her when she needed it the most.

ALI
Ali agrees to 99.9% of things Aubrey pitches without .02 seconds of thought, but this one hit extra close to home. Losing her grandma to cancer and having family battle rare cancers no one should have to face, Ali wanted to have a part in turning something heavy into something that helps other families—even just a little. (The running piece... oof. There may be better things Ali has agreed to do.)

GARRETT
Aubrey asked Garrett to run the Berlin Marathon for AWF, and he said yes before she finished the sentence. Does he like running? Eh. Does he hate cancer? Abso-frickin'-lutely. His dad is now in remission from a multiple myeloma battle in 2024–2025 (YAY!), and Garrett wants to help other families facing the same fight.
